The answer is no. Love ( we assume you're in love if you're in a relationship) is made of three components according to Dr. Sternberg who developed the triangular theory of love. The three components, which forms a triangle, are: intimacy-the sharing of yourself such as intimate thoughts and emotions, passion- the physical attraction where you can’t keep your hands off each other and commitment- a dedication to your love where you decide to be with that person through good or bad. The three components of love interact with each other: e.g. greater intimacy may lead to greater passion or commitment, just as greater commitment may lead to greater intimacy, or with lesser likelihood, greater passion. These components are separable, but interactive with each other. Without intimacy you have a friendship.

A good way for couples to get the intimacy back in their relationship is by trying sexual mindfulness or tantric sex.
